A winter expedition to Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary — tracking, observing and photographing the snow leopard from Snow Leopard Lodge, where the sightings happen.
Individual participants can also join the pre-launched group tour on fixed dates. Exclusive expeditions for 1 person start at USD 6,500.

The Expedition staff will meet you at the snow leopard lodge in Kibber, Our Drivers are good enough to handle the logistics on the ways and our management will be taking care of your journey to/from thee snow leopard lodge remotely. For Big groups our escort car will tag along the to/from journey.
The Lodge is comfortable and winter equipped with traditional heating systems, electric blankets and heaters, the Dining hall will be heated all the time and rooms will be heated during the night. Fresh meals, tea / coffee / soup / kawa will be prepared by our chefs for your comfort. During the day visits our team will bring hot meals and snacks to the field.
There is very good network from Jio and Airtel in the area also good electricity supply is there is the area, however there can be issues if there is an extreme weather. Regarding the snow leopard sightings, its almost 100% for all the groups but again wildlife is unpredictable throughout the globe thus at Kibber wildlife Sanctuary.
Kibber is Situated at the elevation of 4270 meters above sea level and is a very remove village, considering the negative winter temperatures the water freezes and thus the pipelines, we still have 2-3 running washrooms which keep running and alternatively we have chemical toilets in each room’s toilet. Bathing is not a good option given the low temperature and altitude one can dry clean self with wet wipes or we can provide some warm water too, In case wee will be able to arrange water we will give options for bathing to 1-2 people everyday.
In case you are look for a luxury version of the stays, we can arrange the same but the stay will be near Kaza and approx 15-25 km away from where the snow leopards and other wildlife are, we also have to travel back and forth upon sightings and there will be pack meals. we can provide you options for luxury accommodations on additional costs.
In addition to the Logistics we can also arrange camera gears on an additional cost, please let us know if you would like to rent also the camera equipments.
